Welcome to Books By Helm Publishing, the official website of an independent, Australian publishing company.
Our mission is to produce works written primarily by Australian writers, creating opportunities for local authors and supporting our creative arts industry. We have a full-length fiction novel by Sydney author Pete Malicki, the first instalment in a series of children’s illustrated books by Geraldine Aegerter, and stage-tested plays written by successful Aussie playwrights.

Our Philosophy
At Helm Publishing we aim to produce our titles at reasonable prices, giving a much higher royalty to our authors and playwrights than they’d receive through a commercial publishing house.
We also use 100% recycled or FSC Certified paper for all our publications, and we support Australian business by only printing locally.
